On iOS devices

You can transfer any kind of file from a course in Mobile Learn directly to your Dropbox folder by using the "Save To Dropbox" icon on the bottom of the screen.

Here are the steps:

  1. Select a file
  2. Under attachments, tap the file name
  3. In the bottom center of the window you will see the Dropbox Icon, tap it.
    • If you haven’t linked your Dropbox account to the app, you’ll be given the option to now
  4. Select the folder where you would like to place to the file

And there you go! Your file is in your Dropbox and accessible from any place that let’s you access Dropbox.

On Android devices

Uploading files to Dropbox from within Mobile Learn is not yet supported. You must first download the file directly onto your device and then move that file over to your Dropbox folder.  Here’s how:

  1. Select a file
  2. Under “Attachments,” tap the file name.  This will download the file to your phone.
  3. You have two options to access that file
    • Tap the file name under “Attachments” again and select “View”
    • Tap “Menu” and select “Download Manager.”  Find the file and tap “View”
  4. Once the file is open, tap “Menu” and select “Send File”
  5. Choose the Dropbox icon
    • If you haven’t linked your Dropbox account you will be given the option now
  6. Select the folder you want to upload the file to and tap “Upload”

And that’s that.  The file is accessible anywhere you can log into Dropbox.
