iPhone/iPad/iPod users will not be able to post/reply to their class discussion boards if their instructor has configured the Discussion Boards Tool in a certain way on the Blackboard Learn website. If instructors enable “Hide Link” for Discussion Boards on the Tools page, students will not be able to see an option for discussion boards, and will not be able to post to them.
Steps for an instructor to disable this setting
Navigate to your school’s Blackboard website on your computer > click the Tools menu > check to see if the “Hide Link” button is grayed out beside the Discussion Board Tool > If so, click the button again to “unhide” it

Your discussion boards will still be in the same place you had them before - only there will be another place students can access them.

Once this Tool is enabled, students will now see a Discussion Board menu option on the Tools page of the course, in addition to any other place you have linked your discussion boards.
